CHALLENGE

We were called into surgery twice, which is at least twice as often as most creative agencies. Both were fundraising rounds for the pioneering robot surgery company Asensus. This time, Asensus was raising a post-IPO round, and they needed to differentiate both from their competitors and from their own old messaging.

An NYSE Robotic surgery company in need of a fundraising presentation: Silicon Drive to the operating room, STAT.

WHAT WE DID

By elevating design and including messaging about their new AI offering, we brought the deck up to date (and worthy of the groundbreaking work they'd accomplished since last round).

The effect? Positive results... Asensus received the funding and was acquired months later.

Silicon Drive Investment Pitches

We all dream of walking into an investment pitch and leaving with a standing ovation and check in hand. It's usually (always) a little tougher than that.

Investors review companies almost all day, every day. About 1-2% of the companies they review get the chance to present, and you might be one of 3-5 presentations they sit through in one day. Out of all that, one in 10 presenting company gets a check. Almost no standing ovations.

To stand out, your product/market fit doesn't just need to be perfect, it needs to be perfectly explained. You know your industry, but very likely few other people do.

Silicon Drive uses experts to present your company. Not experts in your industry: Experts in presenting. We do this every day, too, so we know what makes you look great.

RESULTS

Asensus closed 18 rounds of funding, and Silicon Drive was involved in the last 6. The latest was April of last year; they announced the acquisition in August.

In October, the surgical portal we presented was named one of the 200 Best Inventions of 2024 by Time Magazine.
